DIAGNOSIS & ASSESSMENT
The most common area of distress for most patients is not knowing what's wrong. Dr Wenban uses a multi-faceted approach to diagnosis; drawing on many years of experience in conjunction with the most up-to-date medical diagnostic tools and systems available today. He will gather all of the information to make an accurate diagnosis and then explain it to you in clear and understandable terms.
History
A complete history can reveal crucial information - the "What, Where, When & How" of the issue at hand.
This is where the patient tells their side of the story and how it affects their life. |
Physical
A thorough physical examination is used to assess your overall health, not simply the symptomatic area.
|
Orthopedic
A complete assessment of the musculoskeletal system with particular focus on the region of most concern.
|
Neurological
A systematic examination of the nervous system, including an assessment of mental status, of the function of each of the cranial nerves, of sensory and neuromuscular function, of the reflexes, and of balance & coordination functions.
|
Imaging
Depending on the requirements of your case and if clinically indicated Dr Wenban may arrange for you to have X-rays, Ultrasound, a CT scan or an MRI. X-ray examinations ordered may be bulk billed for patients with a Medicare Card.
